 HELLO SEPTEMBER!

On today’s Top Ten Tuesday I’m gonna be sharing some characters I didn’t like, connect to, or just wasn’t into. I had a hard time listing these characters because, 1) I’m easily charmed by any swoony gestures even if he/she had a bad first impression, and 2) I don’t like disliking characters.

This list is in random order.

1. Warner from Shatter Me

Honestly, I want to re-read the whole series just to see if I’ll grow to like Warner too, like some blogger/bookworm friends I know. I want to see what made them like this jerk guy. Really. #teamKenji

2. Avery and Cam from Wait for You

Meeting these two was like meeting the same characters from a different book but with a different name. Maybe it was because I’ve read a lot of NA contemporaries, but I swear, it was like deja vu.

3. Drew Evans from Tangled

I remember trying my best to like this man-whore guy. Maybe re-reading might help, I don’t know.

4. Nastya Kashnikov from The Sea of Tranquility

Don’t get me wrong, I totally loved TSoT so much because it gave me so much feels, BUT that doesn’t mean I connected with all the characters.

5. Anna from Anna and the French Kiss

One thing I will never condone in real life or in a book? Cheating. Or flirting behind a lover’s back. Big NO.

6. Beau Bennet from When It Rains

I LOVED THIS BOOK. What i didn’t love? The guy who won the girl in the end. Ugh. I wanna cry for Asher. I want to say more, but doing so would be spoiling the book. T.T

7. Don Tillman from The Rosie Project

Truth is I wasn’t into the book either. Maybe this was more of a “it’s-not-you-it’s-me” case?

8. Livie Cleary from One Tiny Lie

Again, no to cheating. It doesn’t matter if your lady bits wants the other guy, still no.

9. Elena from The Awakening(The Vampire Diaries)

I regret reading this book so much it made me loved the tv series more because the Elena in the book? So. Annoying.

10. Nick Dunne from Gone Girl

TADAH! Are you surprised? Yeah, me too. I know Amy’s crazy, but she’s a crazy smart woman and although what she did was very wrong in so many ways I think Nick deserved it. I’m not condoning anything, but he should’ve been smarter, I might have like him more. Hey it was a crazy book, the sicker the character the better, right? *reflects in a dark corner*

Who’s on your list?
